Telangana Reported 1473 Fresh Infections Of Virus

In a shocking development, Telangana reported as many as 1473 fresh infections of the respiratory disease in the past 24 hours. With the fresh infections, the total infections in the state zoomed to 55,532.
Out of the newly reported cases, the GHMC region reported 506 infections, followed by Ranga Reddy(168), Warangal Urban(111), Sanga Reddy(98), Karimnagar(91), Medchal(86) and Nizamabad(41).
As per the information provided by the health bulletin, a total of 9817 samples were tested for the contagious disease in the past 24 hours and 1473 infections were detected.
On the other hand, eight patients succumbed to the contagious disease in the last 24 hours and the total fatalities in connection with the dreaded virus in the state zoomed to 471. The fatality rate of the virus(0.85) is very less when compared to the average national fatality rate of 2.3.
So far, 42577 pandemic patients in the state managed to recover from the respiratory disease and the active cases stood at 12,955.
