Telangana Reports Near 3,000 Fresh Cases In A Single Day

Fresh Coronavirus cases continue to surge in Telangana with the state reporting as many 2932 fresh cases in the last 24 hours. With this, the total infections rose to 1,17,415.
As per the information provided by the health bulletin, 61,863 samples were tested for the virus in the last 24 hours and 2932 infections were detected. So far, a total of 12,04,343 samples have been tested.
In the last 24 hours, 1580 patients managed to recover from the virus and got discharged from the hospitals accordingly. So far, 87,675 patients have been recovered, while there are 28,941 active cases in the state.
11 patients breathed the last breath in the state in the last 24 hours taking the total casualties in connection with the virus to 799. The state's fatality rate current stood at 0.68 percent.
