Telangana Reports Over 2300 Fresh Corona Infections

Telangana yet again reported over 2,000 fresh pandemic cases in a single day, taking the toll of the total infections over 1.45 lakh. The other day Telangana witnessed a drop in fresh cases.
Going by the information provided by the media bulletin, 60,923 samples were tested in the past 24 hours, and 2,392 people were found infected with the virus and the total infections zoomed to 1,45,163.
In the last 24 hours, 11 people succumbed to respiratory disease. With this, the fatalities in connection with the virus in the state mounted to 906 with a mortality rate of 0.62 percent.
Telangana displayed steady growth in the virus recoveries as the recovery rate increase to a whopping 77.5 percent. So far 1,12,587 patients have been recovered from the virus. The active cases stood at 31,670.
Looking at the regions with the highest number of fresh cases in the last 24 hours, GHMC tops the list with 304 infections followed by Ranga Reddy(191), Karimnagar(157), and Medchal(132).
