Speaker issues Notices to 5 TDP MLAs

Telangana Assembly Speaker Madhusudhana Chary Today issued notices to five Telugu Desam Party legislators who joined ruling TRS after the GHMC polls.
Earlier, TDP sought disqualification of defected MLAs as per anti-defection law. Based on the letter submitted by TDP, Notices were served to MLAs (Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Prakash Goud, S Rajender Reddy, G Sayanna and KP Vivekananda) seeking explanation from them within one week.
In February this year, About 10 TDP MLAs who shifted loyalties to TRS has given a representation to Speaker seeking merger of Telangana TDP Legislature Party with the ruling party.
TDP bagged 15 Assembly seats out of 119 in 2014 Assembly polls. Already, 10 out those Legislators have quit the party and some of them even got inducted into KCR's cabinet.
