Is AP's No.1 Ranking Under Threat?

Telangana Government lodged a complaint with the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) over the rankings offered for states on Ease of Doing Business (EoDB). The Youngest State brought to the notice of Centre about the discrepancies in the rankings.
The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion has begun focusing on the objections raised by few states over EoDB Rankings. DIPP promised to make corrections if needed and announce the results. In addition, A feedback report will be sent to States to help them introspect how they had fared in certain aspects during the feedback survey. This step allows States to identify the errors and take measures to improve their service for implementing the policies/reforms effectively.
TRS Government claimed it deserves No.1 Ranking in Ease of Doing Business (EoDB). Which means, DIPP should either accord No.1 & No.2 Ranks to Telangana & AP respectively or declare that Telangana-AP jointly hold No.1 Rank to appease KCR. Is now AP's No.1 Ranking in Ease of Doing Business under threat?
