Telangana Unlock: Educational Institutions to reopen from 1st of July
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 Jun 2021 3:31 PM GMTTRS chief, Telangana Chief Minister KCR chaired a key Cabinet meeting on Saturday to discuss various issues pertaining to the existing lockdown measures and others.
After the meeting, the government announced lifting of the Lockdown and said night curfew will also be not imposed as the cases and positivity percentage has come down gradually.
In addition to lifting lockdown, the government announced the reopening of the educational institutions across the state from the 1st of July. Physical classes will be held in the institutions.
In a statement, the government said, the Education Department has been instructed to open the institutions from the 1st of July. Students will be allowed to appear for the classes physically, the government said
"With the educational institutions getting reopened, the Cabinet has instructed the Education Department to prepare instructions and guidelines on compulsory attendance of the students, online classes and other related issues and release the same at the earliest," the government observed.
The government said,the decision to lift the lockdown was taken, taking the decline in fresh cases into consideration. Various departments have also advised the same.
