Telangana Women can now Call 181 for Protection!

Telangana Government has come up with a 24*7 helpline in Hyderabad to ensure safety of women in Hyderabad. Now, Women in distress and need of immediate help could call the toll-free number 181. Very soon, This help-desk services would be extended to other districts in the state.

TRS Government is planning to strengthen IT Act for preventing harassment of women. Action on Eve Teasers and those who misbehave with women in public places would be severe from now onwards.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has directed Cops to install Surveillance Cameras at places where eve teasing cases have been on rise. He reacted seriously on harassment of women at bus stops and on buses. He asked RTC Authorities to take measure to ensure men and women were separated while getting on and off busses.
