Telanganas Financial Situation Is Not That Good as we think?

After the formation of the state of Telangana when it was carved out of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, the divided state is going strong in its developmental path and attracting good companies and investments. Compared to Andhra Pradesh, Telangana is doing better, this is what we think about Telangana.

But the reality is different and there is not much difference between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Just like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana is also having a tough time with the finance and the debts taken by the government had crossed the limit already.

As striking similarities between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, both states are in a position to give salaries to the employees and the schemes like pension and others are being delayed as a result of no funds. Both states are banking heavily on the debts, media reports said.

A popular daily had carried out a detailed story on the financial situation of Telangana and it is shocking. As of now, Telangana is facing a massive debt of Rs 4 lakh crores and the government is paying thousands of crores as interest for the interest amount. The revenues generated by the state are unable to match the needs reportedly.

To cut short the additional burden, the government had stopped giving pensions to those who are 57. However, beneficiaries above the age of 60 are getting the pension and that too there is a delay in getting the money. Amid this, the beneficiaries who had applied for the scheme might have to wait.

Not just the employees, even the outsourcing and contract employees, and teachers are facing the heart. With no money on time, they are unable to run their houses and are facing a lot of issues.

The story carried out by the daily had taken everyone by surprise as the TRS government always dubs the state as a progressing state and it is Bangaru Telangana. Not just that, KCR offered to buy the paddy cultivated by the farmers in the state as the Union government said it cannot buy the crop. Looks like the government had to push hard to buy the paddy from the farmers.
