Telangna CM KCR signs first file, passes first GO
By: Tupaki Desk | 2 Jun 2014 11:21 AM GMTA 12-member ministry headed by K. Chandrasekhara Rao as Chief Minister of the new State of Telangana was today sworn-in at a glittering and colorful ceremony in the Raj Bhavan .
During its first and informal meeting chaired by KCR at the State Secretariat on Monday, the Cabinet approved the logo of Telangna. The logo, designed by noted artist Laxman Aelay, has two iconic monuments of Telangana, the Charminar and the Kakatiya Kala Thoranam besides the Ashok Chakra.
Briefing the media persons later, Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy said that the approval of logo was the only agenda for the first meeting of Telangana cabinet. At the other end, Telangana Cabinet has issues First GO on opening of new account in RBI with Rs.1.38 Crores on the name of Telangana State.
The Telangana Secretariat was welcomed the first Chief Minister of Telangana, K. Chandrashekar Rao, and his team on Monday.KCR received a rousing reception from Telangana employees when he enters the Secretariat for the first time after the swearing-in-ceremony at Raj Bhavan. ItÂ’s a double bonus for the employees as KCRÂ’s entry as CM and formation of the Telangana state falls on the same day.
