Tamil Nadu capital, Chennai has hosted the mini-auction for the upcoming season of the world's richest cricket tournament Indian Premier League(IPL). One thing that bothers the Indian fans is the franchises run after the overseas players.
Indian cricket fans, who waited eagerly to see new players and uncapped players playing the IPL faced a setback with the teams showing interest in the overseas players, leaving the Indian players.
Our very own Telugu cricketer Hanuma Vihari, played a crucial role in saving the Sydney Test against the mighty Aussies. He, along with Ravichandran Ashwin displayed heroes with the bat and batted for more than 40 overs to save the game. Despite the hamstring injury, Vihari made sure that, India will not lose the game.
Despite this, he was not purchased by any franchise in the auction. Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun was also purchased by the Mumbai Indians for a base price of Rs 20 lakh.
After the mini IPL auction, Hanuma Vihari has tweeted "Lol" along with a laughter emoji. With a short and sharp tweet, Vihari has indicated that he is least bothered about the auction
