Unfortunate incidents involving Indians in the United States continue to grow and are showing no sign to come down. At regular intervals, we hear about such incidents. In one such incident, a young Indian lady was killed. In a mass shooting, nine people were killed including an Indian girl.

Going into details,27-year-old Aishwarya Thatikonda who was working with a big company was killed in a mass shooting earlier this month. Now the required procedure was followed and her mortal remains arrived in Hyderabad finally.

It is a lengthy process to send the mortal remains from the United States to India. Many procedures have to be followed and it is also a costly affair. That's why it took a few days for the mortal remains to reach India. It is said that the remains arrived on Wednesday night and her last rites would be held today.

Aishwarya Thatikonda hails from the capital city of Telangana, Hyderabad. She was working with Perfect General Contractors LLC based in Texas as a project manager. Aishwarya was in the mall when a gunman opened fire, killing around nine people. Her friend was also present there. However, she sustained a few injuries. Talking about her family details, her father Narsi Reddy is a serving judge in the Rangareddy district court.

It is said that the Non-profit organization Telugu Association of North America(TANA) came to Aishwarya's family's rescue and put in the best efforts to send her mortal remains to Hyderabad. The association coordinated with the authorities to make sure that no issues arise in sending the mortal remains. Media reports say that the arrangements are underway for her last rites which would be held on Thursday likely.

The procedure is that the death form registration should be filled and the original death certificate along with the cremation permit should be submitted. No disease certificate should be submitted and the Flight details, including the timings of travel, should be mentioned. After going through all these documents, the concerned authorities would give a no objection certificate(NOC) to send the mortal remains from the United States to the designated countries.
