One more girl showed telugu pride in America .Indian American Nina Davuluri who has origin from Krishna district has been crowned as Miss America. She is the first Indian American to be chosen to be Miss America.Davuluri, who represented New York in the competition, is the first person of Indian descent to win the beauty pageant
The 24-year-old beauty queen beat out 52 other contestants, including first runner-up Crystal Lee of California, to win the highly-coveted title.
Davuluri was born in Syracuse, but moved to Oklahoma at age four then to Michigan at 10. Six years ago, her family moved to Fayetteville.Nina Father is a gynecologist who rooted from Vijayawada of krishna district.
