The BJP is now basking under the glory of its four-state victory, which it sees as a massive validation of its work. The biggest victory is in UP, where the party has won a very impressive battle, has some key contribution from the Telugus. A young leader from AP has played a key role in the BJP victory in UP.
He is all India general secretary Satya Kumar. Satya Kumar was Venkaiah Naidu's personal secretary for several years. Later, he joined the BJP and was made the national secretary. He has been quite active in AP politics of late. He was made the co-incharge of the state for the party.
Satya Kumar has been working in UP for the past several months and has covered almost every district. He was interacted and motivated the party workers in a big way. He has held several internal meetings to assess the party's position in each constituency. UP has 403 assembly constituencies and has a population of around 19 crore, which is equal to the total population of Russia. Satya Kumar focused on the booth-level connect and worked hard to ensure that every BJP voter cast his vote.
He was given the task of working on 135 seats in the state and in the last leg focused on just 15 seats for micro-planning. He also ensured that thousands of BJP workers from both Telangana and Andhra camp in UP and work in a focused manner for the party's victory.
