Telugu Student Priyanka dies in USA

n a tragic incident, A Telugu Student who has leaven for USA for higher studies breathed her last.
Priyanka Gogineni, a native of Kavali in Andhra Pradesh, went for a swim in Lake Hicks in Seattle. Unfortunately, She got drowned thereafter. She came to US after obtaining admission in St.Martin's University in Seattle.
Mani Pothepalli, a friend of Priyanka, alerted North American Telugu Society (NATS) about the tragic incident. Priyanka comes from a poor family and her parents don't even have passports. So, NATS took the responsibility to send the mortal remains of the deceased to AP as early as possible.
A call for donation have been given by NATS to contribute to the travel expenses. People were requested to contribute generously for the good cause. If the collected amount is more than what was required for travel expenses, The rest of the fund will be offered to Priyanka's Family.
