2 April 2011 is a memorable day for Indian Cricket and Cricket Fans. Keeping an end to 28 long years, Team India lifted the 50-over World Cup on this day exactly a decade back.

India recorded a memorable victory in the final of the World Cup match that too on home ground. Fans cannot forget the iconic match-winning shot of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Ravi Shastri's commentary in the background.

Cricketers like Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, and others have remembered the World Cup Triumph. "April 2: 10 years ago , the moment of a lifetime. #TeamIndia,' Sehwag posted on Twitter.

"April 2, 2011 - a day when history was created! We wanted to win the WC for India & for the master @sachin_rt who carried the nation's expectations over decades! Indebted to be able to represent India & bring glory to our nation #AlwaysBleedBlue #WC2011 @ICC @BCCI", Yuvraj Singh tweeted.
