A Court in Tenali directed Cops to book case against Kathi Mahesh for allegedly hurting the sentiments of Hindus.

Representatives of Hindu Vahini filed a complaint against Kathi Mahesh in Tenali Urban Police Station for abusing Lord Rama and Seetha while taking part in a News Channel debate. As the case wasn't booked by Cops, Hindu Vahini President Paatibandla Ramakrishna filed a petition in the court. Subsequently, Judge ordered Cops to book the case under relevant sections.

Kathi Mahesh was already banned from Hyderabad for a period of six months for posing a threat to law & order with his provocative statements. Last month, Hyderabad Cops took him into custody and shifted him to Chittoor.
