Water Disputes:Tension Grips Nagarjunasagar after Andhra Officials were asked to Go Back

After Andhra Pradesh moved the Krishna River Management Board, Telangana deployed security personnel at Nagarjunasagar in the light of the war of words between the two Telugu states.
As a fresh development in the water tussle, Andhra Pradesh officials, who came to hand over the letter urging the Telangana Genco officials to not go ahead with the power generation were stopped at the border.
When the Andhra officials reached the Pulichintala Project area to hand over the letter to stop the works, the Police personnel present there sent them back which resulted in a tense situation.
It is also said that the Police personnel is checking the vehicles coming from Andhra Pradesh and the vehicles are only allowed after checking. This resulted in a tense situation at Nagarjunasagar.
