Tent And Content Of Bjp Campaign Proves To Be A Big Draw In Nagarjunasagar
By: Tupaki Desk | 13 April 2021 7:08 AM GMTEnterprising BJP youths are devising every newer ways to conduct party's campaign in Nagarjunasagar. Like in Dubbak, a large number of BjP workers have come to Nagarjunasagar from across the state and are campaigning for the party's candidate Ravi Naik.
But, they have found that most hotels in Halia and other places are already occupied by the TRS leaders. Even guesthouses have been occupied. So, the BJP workers are staying in party workers' houses wherever possible. But, in many villages, even that is not possible. So, the party workers have brought trekking tents with them. They are setting up the tents on the outskirts of the villages and tribal thandas and are spending nights in those tents. They are cooking their own food and are launching their campaign from the early hours of the day. The party workers feel that this has given them a great opportunity to get closer to the people of the tribal thandas.
Many BJP workers are adopting to the situation quite effortlessly. "We are all trained in the RSS to live life in a tough situation. Hence, it makes no difference to us whether we are living in palatial buildings or make-shift tents," said a young BJP worker who was leading a team of workers in Rajavaram and Dokkalavai Thanda in the constituency.
