Bollywood flick 'The Accidental Prime Minister' which is based on the book penned by Manmohan Singh's Media Advisor when he was a PM during UPA Regime is worrying the Congress Party more than anything else ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha Polls. The National Party fears this movie could hurt its poll prospects all over the nation.

'The Accidental Prime Minister' is all about why Sonia Gandhi preferred Manmohan Singh as the Prime Minister and How Manmohan Singh ruled the country under Sonia's Leadership. Anupam Kher has done the role of Manmohan Singh. Casting for the roles of Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka wasn't good enough. May be, It's a deliberate attempt by the makers to convey they are weak.

This feature film not only defames Manmohan Singh but also the Congress Party. It presents Manmohan Singh as a dummy who can't take decisions on his own even in crucial situations. And, Sonia Gandhi was presented as a Leader who offered more priority to projecting her Son Rahul Gandhi as a PM Material rather than the interests of the Nation.

What's being shown in 'The Accidental Prime Minister' might be similar to the content in the book penned by Sanjaya Baru, but the reach a Hindi feature film have makes the difference. Hardly 10,000 people might have read the book, crores of people will be watching the movie. So, Congress Leaders demand removal of objectionable scenes before the release. There seems to be no such possibility as NDA is in power right now and there mayn't be any hurdles for the release.
