YCP Telangana MLA attends Naidu's Meeting

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday toured the Polavaram region to take part in few development programmes. Presence of YSR Congress Telangana MLA Thati Venkateswarlu in the official programmes of AP CM raised many eyebrows.
Thati Venkateswarlu contested from Aswaraopet Assembly segment in Telangana during 2014 General Elections. Centre merged 7 Mandals of Khamman district in AP due to Polavaram project. Aswaraopet is one among the Assembly constituencies in these mandals and hence the MLA couldn't skip CM's meeting.
Few days ago, MP Vinod Kumar spoke in Lok Sabha over the confusion among people and public representatives about the merger of 7 mandals of Khammam in AP. He told Parliament that legislators in the constituencies falling in these mandals aren't able to attend the Assembly in either AP or Telangana. He demanded increase of Assembly constituencies in Telugu States as per Section 26.
