When he was in Kerala for the shoot of 'Panjaa', A Group reached the shooting spot and began harassing the Junior Artistes in the presence of Cops. Then, Pawan Kalyan thrashed them as he was unable to remain calm when such things happen.
While shooting for 'Thammudu', PK thrashed a guy who misbehaved with Preeti Jhangiani. Later, People around him got hold of the man and tied him to a tree for punishing.
The Actor-turned-Politician claimed to have taken law into hands at the shooting spot as there willn't be much time to call the police and that's the best way take the situation under control. Finally, PK concluded neither laws nor cops could stop them if people don't awake. 'If I fear to stop such things, what is the need for this Hero-giri? If I thrash 20 people onscreen but get scared to punish one offender, What is the use of such life? I had seen My Sisters suffer in my childhood. Such things won't happen if men have the fear that society will punish if they harass women. It's not right to blame Police alone. We, as a society, need to take the responsibility to stop such things,' he stressed.
