The Deadly Temple-Masjid Practice hits Telangana!

Compared to earlier, we are seeing more of Temple-Masjid issues in the country now. Irrespective of North and South, the issues are popping up. Even Telangana saw such an issue after permission was sought for re-opening the mosque at Charminar, in the pearl city Hyderabad.
The Telangana wing of Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party are locking horns with each other on the Shri Bhagya Laxmi Mandir, Charminar. The issue popped up after a Muslim leader raised a new demand that the mosque should be opened to offer prayers. This did not go well with the BJP party and its leaders.
The T-BJP leaders are alleging that the demand to reopen the Mosque was started deliberately. The leaders asked why Congress leader Rashed Khan started the issue all of a sudden when Hindus have been praying at the famous Bhagya Lakshmi temple.
Amid this, the Congress leaders visited the famous temple at Charminar. As Sonia Gandhi tested positive for the novel Coronavirus, the Telangana Congress leaders Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, senior leader V. Hanumantha Rao, and a few others visited the temple and prayed for her recovery.
The BJP came into the scene, with Congress leader Rasheed Khan alleging that the Bhagya Lakshmi temple is an illegal construction and sought permission for the re-opening of the mosque. Saying that the sentiments were hurt, T-BJP started a counterattack.
