The Real Reason Why Chandrababu Is Stopping Vamsi From Leaving

Why is Chandrababu hell bent on getting back party MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi and make him withdraw his resignation? Insiders say that there is no love lost between Chandrababu and Vallabhaneni Vamsi. In fact, Vamsi was slighted many a time while Chandrababu was in power because of his friendship with Kodali Nani of the YSRCP. But, now Chandrababu is moving heaven and earth to make his stay back as MLA.
The real reason, according to insiders is that if Vamsi resigns, the TDP tally will be one less and there are reports that at least six more MLAs are planning to leave the party. They will join the YSRCP. They will resign from their MLA posts and will fight the bypolls. This means the YSRCP tally will go up by five to six MLAs and the TDP tally will fall down to just 16. If this happens, the TDP boss will not be recognised as the leader of the opposition. This means, Chandrababu will not have the Cabinet rank. He will not have a special chamber meant for the Leader of the Opposition. It is to protect his Cabinet rank that Chandrababu is working hard to woo Vamsi.

If this happens, Chandrababu will lose all the perks of being the Leader of the Opposition. It is for this that Babu is trying to convince Vamsi to withdraw his resignation.
