The US Gives A Nod To Use Remdesivir As COVID-19 Vaccine

In a piece of good news, the United States of America(USA) gave official permission to use the Anti-Virus drug 'remdesivir' in the Coronavirus treatment. The American doctors earlier said that this drug showed some good results.
The Drug Controller Organisation has agreed to include the 'remdesivir' in the emergency vaccine list. It is believed that this drug will help us find the vaccine for the virus.
With this, the intravenous drug will be distributed to the doctors to administer to the patients those who develop low blood oxygen or respiratory problems who needs breathing assistance with the help of a mechanical ventilator.
"It's the first authorized therapy for COVID-19, so we're really proud to be part of it," FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn said.
The US President Donald Trump called this step as the very first step in the process of finding a cure for the COVID-19 pandemic and the Gilead Science Inc company will donate 1.5 million vials of the drug which will help the Coronavirus patients.
