The US is conducting more COVID-19 Tests: Trump

US President Donald Trump who has faced severe criticism for failing to control the spread of the virus in the nation is leaving no stone unturned to prove that his irresponsible is not the reason for the disastrous situation in the country.
Speaking at a press meet, Trump said that compared to other nations the US is conducting more COVID-19 tests.
"When compared to the nations like France, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Japan, Singapur, Bharat, Austria, Australia, Sweden, and Canada America is conducting more COVID-19 medical tests. Lakhs of deaths might have resulted in the US if we would have not taken these safety measures," Mr. Trump said.
His statements clearly state that he is more interested in proving that his irresponsibility in not the reason for the situation in the nation.
To date, 7,64,000 cases were reported in the US claiming more than 40,000 deaths due to the pandemic. New York which is the hotspot for the pandemic has witnessed 2,42,000 cases and 17,000 deaths so far.
