Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates (61) has been continuing as the World's Richest Person since 2013. And now, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos managed to dethrone him from the Top Spot after the surge of shares of the online retailer.
Currently, The net worth of Jeff Bezos is of $92.3 billion (Rs 5,92,798 crore approx). Whereas, Bill Gates have a net worth of $90.8 billion (Rs 5,83,122 crore approx).
Jeff Bezos owns 17 percent stake in Amazon. The shares of the online retailer has surged 40 percent in this financial year. In January 2017, The 53-Year-Old was fourth richest person in the World. Since then, He surpassed Warren Buffet and Amancio Ortega.
Amazon is likely to achieve a quarterly revenue of #37.2 billion. That's 22 percent more than the revenue generated last year.
