This BJP CM Is Happy At BJPs Below Par Performance In Elections

One man who is breathing easy after the BJP's lacklustre performance in Maharashtra and Haryana is none other than Yeddiyurappa. The BJP national leadership has planned to dissolve the assembly in Karnataka and go in for snap elections. The party wants to retire Yeddiyurappa as he is past 75 and is unable to fully focus on governance. Also, a section of the BJP is staunchly opposed to him and wants to see his back.

But, now with the BJP performing below par in Maharashtra and Haryana, the BJP national leadership, it is learnt, has dropped the idea of going for the snap polls. Unlike in Maharashtra, the Congress has a strong leader in Siddaramaiah and though jailed, DK Sivakumara too can wreak havoc. Hence going for polls at this state could actually boomerang. So, the BJP national leadership has reportedly deferred the plans to go to polls and bid a goodbye to Yeddiyurappa. For now, Yeddiyurappa will stay and will have his way.

He will now focus on the bypolls and try to win the maximum number of seats in order to bring stability to his government. Some of the winning MLAs would also be accommodated in the ministry too. So, Yeddyurappa is now going ahead with his plans as the Centre no longer wishes to meddle.
