This Comment Of Jagan Is Making TDP Jittery
By: Tupaki Desk | 1 April 2019 12:46 PM ISTJagan's whirlwind tours and tireless efforts are sending shivers down the spine of Chandrababu and his batch. With Jagan crisscrossing the state like one else, the TDP is quite worried. His assurances and announcements are appealing to the youth, women and farmers. Unlike the TDP's assurances, most of which have never been implemented, there is an air of reassurance and confidence in what Jagan says. Unlike Chandrababu's assurances, Jagan's assurances do not ring hollow.
One of the most important assurance during the runup to the 2014 elections was that of providing jobs to the unemployed youth. This was one assurance that made the youth turn to the TDP and vote in Chandrababu Naidu. But, the TDP boss miserably failed to keep up his word. He has ignored the demands from the common man. This time around, Chandrababu Naidu cannot speak about it. Even if he speaks, the youth are no longer ready to believe him. They are deeply upset at the unfulfilled promises of 2014 and are ready to teach a fitting lesson to Chandrababu.
At this juncture, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy played a master stroke and said he would focus on employment creation in a big way soon after assuming power. He said there were 2.30 lakh vacancies in the state and that he would fill them soon after coming to power. He has also said that he would ensure that 75 per cent of the jobs would go only to the locals. These two assurances are making waves among the youth. Meanwhile, the TDP is jittery at these promises as the people are not willing to be taken in by Babu's empty promises.
