This Is Not We Expect From Rahul Gandhi

Here's a gem of a comment from you know who - Rahul Gandhi. He said in an interview that according to his party's internal assessment, the BJP is sure to be defeated in the current elections. Well! One expected him to deliver speeches filled with fire and vitriol and take on the BJP on its own turf. One hoped he would take the media by storm with his aggressive speeches. But, he ended up making a comical comment such as these. By the way, which party's internal assessment does not say that the rivals would be defeated? Does any party enter the battle field hoping to be mauled, beaten and defeated? Every party’s internal assessments fancy victory for itself.

It does not need a president of a grand old party to say that. One expects insights from him. One wants to know his perspective. But Rahul was still stuck in the old mold. Time for Rahul Gandhi to grow out of tutored answers and doctored theses. Time to come out with his own perspective.
