Why Kejriwal lost in Punjab? Sidhu reveals!
By: Tupaki Desk | 11 March 2017 4:10 PM GMTFormer Cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu is on cloud nine after the stupendous victory of Congress party in Punjab Assembly Polls.
Actually, Sidhu had differences with BJP Leadership since he was denied Amritsar Lok Sabha seat in 2014 Polls. He resigned to his Rajya Sabha seat and the Saffron Party after BJP sidelined him in Punjab poll campaigning. Sidhu planned to join Aam Aadmi Party after quitting BJP but Kejriwal didn't agree to his terms (making him CM Candidate). As a result, Sidhu and his Wife joined Congress.
Post the victory, Sidhu gave credit for the victory to Punjab Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. He recalls promising to Sonia Gandhi that he is willing to sacrifice anything for Punjab's glory.
Sidhu didn't hesitate to say why Aam Admi Party underperformed. He opined that the intentions of Arvind Kejriwal weren't pure and he wanted power for himself.
Had if Sidhu joined AAP, The wave could be have been in face of Kejriwal's Party in Punjab polls. The AAP Chief paid a huge price by denying CM Post to Sidhu.
