This MLA Flouts Corona Restrictions

See who is violating the Corona restrictions. Not the commoners, not the hawkers or not even the traders, but the VIPs. It is the VIPs, who are escaping the thermal tests and are not following the mandatory self-quarantine after a foreign visit. The latest to join the hall if Corona infamy is Sirpur Kagaznagar MLA Koneru Konappa.
Konappa, who has recently returned from the US tour, has claimed that he did not contact Corona virus. However, the authorities have taken a serious view of this and ordered the district medical and health officer to quarantine Konappa and his wife. The MLA was strictly told not to attend any official function. He was told to remain confined to a room in his house for 14 days. The district police were also told to take appropriate action on this.
Despite the wide spread incidence of Corona fears, the MLA has said that he has no health issues and went home. He had eve said that he was ordered by the chief minister to go to the constituency. However, it later turned out that the MLA was merely bluffing. It is sad that the VIPs are not following the quarantine procedures strictly. Several VIP sons and daughters too have tried to escape the quarantine procedures near the Shamshabad airport. Meanwhile, the total number of Corona positive cases in Telangana has touched 19. An 18 year-old girl, who returned from London, was also found to be Corona positive.
