This Temple Is Becoming Central Point Of T BJP's Strategy

The BJP clearly is trying to make the Bhagyalakshmi temple a rallying point in its political plans. Though the temple has always been an emotive issue, the party has been making it a rallying point only after Bandi Sanjay took over as the state president.
Soon after he took over, Bandi Sanjay made it a point to visit the temple and offer prayers. Later, when the issue of forged letter came to the fore, Bandi Sanjay dared the TRS to come to the temple. The TRS chose to stay away and this made Bandi a hero in the eyes of the people. Later, former Union Minister Amit Shah too visited the temple and offered prayers.
With all these moves, the temple has shot into fame. The visitors to the temple have grown. Not just that the temple has helped the BJP re-establish itself as a Hindutwa party. Now the BJP is doing everything at its command to make the temple a central figure in its scheme of things.
No wonder, the BJP chose the same temple for the oath-taking of the newly elected GHMC corporators. All the 48 corporators, party senior functionaries like Bandi Sanjay, Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh and others, were present. So, it is likely that we are going to hear more about the temple in the coming days.
