This TRS man is in tearing hurry to contest from Gajwel!!

Ever since KCR has said that his rival-turned-acolyte Vanteru Pratap Reddy would be made the party candidate from Gajwel , Reddy has begun campaigning for himself. He has been meeting the TRS party leaders in the constituency and has reportedly been telling them that he is the party candidate from Gajwel. This has now become a hot topic of discussion in the TRS circles.
The 2023 elections are several months away and KCR has not said anything officially. This was said during a casual chit chat with party MLC Yadav Reddy. So, it is not clear whether KCR would fight for the Lok Sabha seat or for the assembly seat. Given this, Pratap Reddy’s lobbying has become a matter of heated debate within the TRS.
Pratap Reddy was the Congress candidate who took on KCR from Gajwel and lost. After the 2019 defeat, KCR invited Vanteru into the TRS and Vanteru promptly accepted it. He has been given a plum corporation post. So, the party workers and leaders are asking why such hurry on the part of Pratap Reddy.
The party leaders are asking as to why Pratap Reddy is in such haste. Knowing KCR’s mercurial ways, they feel that KCR might change his decision and contest for the assembly again from Gajwel. If that happens, what will happen to Vanteru, they ask. One does not know how the party would see his activism. They advise caution and suggest that Vanteru go slow on the issue.
