The dragon country China has started the massive vaccination drive ahead of the Spring Festival of 2021, which is one of the biggest festivals. The vaccination is expected to be completed before February 12, the day when the festival starts.
When the vaccination drive is going on in full swing, a vaccine expert from Shanghai who goes by the name of Dr. Tao Lina kickstarted a controversy by claiming that the vaccine, which was approved for the vaccination drive is not safe.
He didn't stop by just saying the vaccine is not safe, he alleged that the vaccine is the Most Unsafe vaccine in the World which has as many as 73 side-effects.
According to the media reports, the vaccine specialist made an elaborate post on social media claiming that taking two doses of the Sinopharm vaccine will result in 73 side-effects.
As per the vaccine expert's social media post, those who take the vaccine dose developed by state-owned company Sinopharm will develop symptoms like Loss of taste and vision, urinary incontinence, headache, high blood pressure
As a sudden twist in the tale, the expert made a big U-turn and claimed that he made the social media post in a sarcastic way and even claimed that he got the first dose of the vaccine and would take the second dose soon.
Despite his U-turn, the claims he made added fuel to the questions raised by the scientists and experts over the safety offered by the vaccine approved by the government.
