By: Tupaki Desk | 5 Jan 2020 10:41 AM GMTAgitations against the Citizenship Amendment Act and National Register of Citizens has been continuing all over the country since the passage of Bill in the Parliament. Some of the massive protests had even turned violent and resulted in loss of lives. Surprisingly, There are no such huge protests against Citizenship Amendment Act in Hyderabad even though MIM is so strong in this territory.
Analysts say, Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao might have appealed MIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi to ensure there is no unrest in Hyderabad. MIM Supremo couldn't say no to any such proposal from his Dear Friend. This could be why there are no violent agitations in this part of the country.
On Saturday, Telangana, AP JAC and Tehreek Muslim Shaban had jointly conducted Millennium March at Indira Park. Court granted permission for holding a meeting with a gathering doesn't exceeding 1,000 people. Much to everyone's shock, As many as 1 lakh people took part in the meeting. Those opposing the Citizenship Amendment Act marched on the roads leading to Indira Park. Although none of the political parties were involved, The turnout was beyond the expectations. Social Media Campaign played a crucial role in the success of this mission. Police Department breathed a sigh of relief as there wasn't even a single disturbing incident. This meeting proved that a lot of people in the Telugu States are against NRC.
