Now just nine days remain for the election campaign to end in Munugode. All the parties are straining their every nerve to reach out to the people. Each party is claiming that the people are on its side. Since the campaigning is set to end on November 1, the door-to-door camping has picked pace. The intensity of rallies and yatras has increased.
TRS chief KCR is all set to address a public meeting at Chandur on October 30. The TRS is pulling all the stops to ensure that the public meeting becomes a huge success. The BjP too is organizing a major public meeting as the campaign reaches a crescendo on October 31. Party national chief Jagat Prakash Nadda will address the public meeting at Munugode.
Not to be left behind, the Congress will organize a massive rally on the last day of the campaign. Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief Revanth Reddy will lead the rally in the constituency. Thus Munugode is all set to witness a massive show of strength by all the major contestants. All the three parties have taken the election as a prestige issue.
Political watchers say that these last hour public meetings will help create the mood and determine the outcome of the Munugode byelection. After the deadline for the campaign is over, all the outside leaders who have campaigned in Munugode will return, leaving only the local leaders to take care of the polling.
