Three surveys by TRS for municipal polls

The TRS wants to continue its winning streak even in the Municipal elections. The party is reportedly getting three surveys done. One of the surveys has been commissioned through a major opinion survey organisation, while the second one is being conducted by the intel wing of the police forces. The third survey is being done by asking senior leaders to fan out into the municipal towns and speak to the cross section of the people. The whole process is being closely monitored by party's working president KTR himself.
The survey reports are said to be getting ready and the reports would reach KTR by December 31, based on which the TRS will decide on its candidates. Though the party does not have a credible opposition to contend with, the TRS does not want to take any chances. It wants to register another stunning victory and add another feather to its plumes. Post the tumultuous success in the Huzurnagar bypoll and the complete failure of the 52-day RTC strike, the TRS is upbeat and the Opposition is in complete disarray.
The party is also ascertaining from its leaders the position of the party in every municipality and the winnability factor. It wants to strategise about the measures and precautions to be taken to ensure party's victory in every town. A key strategy meeting of the party would be held on January 1, sources said.
