Tiktoker Failed To Win The Elections

BJP has given the ticket to a Tiktoker whose videos are watched by lakhs of people. She enjoys a huge fan following on social media. BJP chose her thinking that her following will help them win the elections.
They thought that her lakhs of followers will result in a huge victory for them. But their expectations were failed miserably. With the election result, they have learned a lesson that having followers and getting votes are two different things.
Sonali Phogat, Tik Tok Celebrity contested in the Haryana Assembly elections on BJP ticket from Adampur Constituency. But she was defeated by Congress candidate Kuldeep Bishnoi with almost 30,000 votes.
She has 1.99 lakh followers and only 34,222 votes were voted for her. At an average, only one out of six flowers voted her. In Spite of having a good number of followers, she could not win her elections.
