The United States President-elect Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris has registered a spectacular win in the US Presidential elections held in early November this year.
Now the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris duo found themselves on the cover page of the American weekly news magazine Time. They were named the Time magazine's 2020 "Person of the Year
In its special story on Biden and Harris, Time’s magazine said the duo was named as the Time magazine's 2020 "Person of the Year" for changing the history of the United States.
The magazine has also lauded the duo for proving that the forces of empathy are greater than the furies of division, are sharing a healing vision for the world that is grieving.
To appear on Time Magazine's cover page, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris faced a tough fight from frontline health care workers and Anthony Fauci, the racial justice movement, and Donald Trump.
In the elections, Joe Biden has won 306 electoral votes, while Donald Trump was restricted to 232 votes. Joe Biden has won many battleground states. Biden also became the Presidential candidate to win the highest votes with nearly seven million votes.
