The Hyderabad Traffic Police Department is not leaving any stone unturned to deal with the vehicles with tinted glass with an iron fist. The cops are setting up special drives and checkups for the vehicles that violate the rules and slapping the violators with fines and removing the tinted glasses from the cars.

The Police department is not even sparing celebrities, cops, and Legislators too when it comes to the tinted glass violations. Besides imposing fines on the cars, the cops are removing the tinted glass. The special drive to look for the violations had started earlier last month and has been going on to date.

The Traffic Police Department had fined another Tollywood celebrity as they found tinted glass on the vehicle that belongs to the celebrity. Akkineni scion Naga Chaitanya became the latest celebrity from the Tollywood film industry to face a fine for having a tinted glass. He was present in the vehicle when it was stopped by the cops.

His vehicle was stopped at the Jubilee Hills check post and he was fined Rs 700 for the same reason. The Traffic Department officials have removed the tinted glass and imposed a fine as well.

Earlier the likes of Young Tiger NTR, Icon Star Allu Arjun, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Manchu Manoj, Tollywood popular writer-director Trivikram Srinivas and a few others were fined for having tinted glasses on their vehicles.

Before starting the drive, the Hyderabad Traffic Police Department had issued a warning that those who are having tinted glass and stickers mentioning their designation should be removed or else they have to pay a fine.

However, the Department officials had found that many vehicles are still using the glasses and stickers. Acting on the same, the department had started a drive to look for such violations. Many vehicles have attracted fines for having tinted glass.

The intention behind starting the drive is to implement the Supreme Court orders which say that no vehicle should have the tinted glass or stickers except for those who have Y category security. Reports say that the ongoing drive is likely to be continued for a few more months.
