Nearly 100 Tollywood film have been released in the first half of 2013, as only few of them could attain a successful film status. Let's have a look at the profitable ventures till June this year.
Nayak - Rs 55 crore (share) - Superhit; SVSC - Rs 52 crore (share) - Superhit; Mirchi - Rs 45 crore (share) - Blockbuster; Swamy Ra Ra - Rs 10 crore (share) - Hit; Baadshah - Rs 45 crore (share) - Hit; Gunde Jaari Gallanthayinde - Rs 22.5 crore (share) - Superhit; Tadaka - Rs 19.5 crore (share) - Hit; Iddarammayilatho - Rs 38 crore (share) - Above Average; Premakatha Chitram - Rs 14 crore (share) - Blockbuster; Balupu - Rs 30 crore+ (share) - Superhit.
10 straight Telugu films have been declared as successful films until now and this is somewhat better than the results in the past few years.
The second half will be more interesting as several big stars have been in race. Pawan Kalyan's Atharintiki Daredi, Mahesh Babu's 1, Ram Charan's Yevadu & Thoofan, Jr NTR's Ramayya Vastavayya, Allu Arjun's Race Gurram, Nagarjuna's Bhai, Venkatesh-Ram's Golmaal, Kalyan Ram's OM, Nani's Paisa and few other promising films will be hitting screens in the second half.
