Election Expenditure of Politicians kept increasing drastically. Social Activists, Political Observers and Few Politicians have been expressing concern over it. The Situation has come to an extent that leaders like JC Diwakar Reddy have been openly talking about Rs 50 crore expenditure in every constituency.
Here is the list of Top 5 Constituencies when it comes to Election Expenditure..
1) Mangalagiri: There is a neck-and-neck fight between TDP's Nara Lokesh and YCP's Alla Ramakrishna Reddy in this constituency. Both the parties have spent lavishly to please the voters. You can understand how the situation is like if voters received Acs and Fridges before polling. Expenditure could be not less than Rs 200 crore here.
2) Nellore Urban: Municipal Minister P Narayana contested on TDP ticket from this constituency. There were reports of voters receiving Silver Vessels here.
3) Addanki: Sitting MLA Gottipati Ravi jumped into TDP upon winning on YCP Ticket in 2014 Elections. Retaining the MLA Seat is a matter of prestige for him. As a result, Election Expenditure has sky-rocketed.
4) Gudiwada: 3-Time MLA Kodali Nani was challenged by Devineni Avinash with the support of TDP Leadership in this prestigious constituency. So much money has been spent to defeat Kodali Nani at least in this attempt.
5) Visakha North: This segment was represented by BJP's Vishnu Kumar Raju in the past 5 years. Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao shifted to this constituency from Bheemili fearing defeat. So much money was spent here to influence the voters.
