Top Cop's Missive Stuns Chandrababu

A pro-active police department has put paid to Chandrababu Naidu's plans to get some publicity through allegations and statements. The department's immediate response to his comments has left Chandrababu rattled. He is now looking for some other plan to attack the YSRCP government.
Chandrababu is known for misusing the police to attack his political rivals. During his five-year term, he had got the police to foist cases on the YSRCP activities to trouble and torment them. He even got YS Jagan arrested as he was alighting from a flight in Vizag. But, the same Chandrababu is now trying to attack and is calling it partisan.
Chandrababu has recently decided to up his ante and accuse the AP police of tapping his phone. He hoped that the Government and the police would run cover and this would get him the desired publicity. But, AP DGP turned tables in a smart manner when he demanded that Chandrababu furnish evidence of phone-tapping. When DGP Gowtham Sawang asked for proof of phone-tapping, Chandrababu was non-plussed. He did not know what to do. If he cannot furnish proof, it would be a loss of face for him. His credibility would be lost.
More troublesome for him is that Gowtham Sawang sent a written communication to Chandrababu asking him for proof. This is not some ordinary statement to wish away. Now, unable to answer, Chandrababu Naidu is criticizing Gowtham Sawang for writing a letter. He is now saying that as a civil servant he should not write letters. Clearly, his strategy of flinging accusations has failed.
