The Andhra Pradesh government is taking steps towards constituting a new trust board of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). The race for the post of the chairman of the TTD Trust Board has already begun within the Party and many are vying to join in the board.According to close sources Former Tirupati MLA Chadalawada Krishna Murthy is likely to bag the prestigious chairman post of TTD.
State BJP spokesperson G.Bhanuprakash Reddy is likely be appointed as a member of the TTD board. Along with Bhanu Prakash TTD posts are confirmed for veteran film director K.Raghavendra Rao and former TTD JEO P.Balasubramanyam.Dr.P.Hariprasad, a close associate of actor Pawan Kalyan, is also trying to become TTD board member.
Veteran Cong leader and present TDP Narasaraopeta MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao also tried hard to get the chairman post. The tobacco tycoon had openly aired his views saying that “getting nominated to the TTD chairman’s post was a life-time ambition. But Chnadrababu shattered his dreams and chosen ex-Tirupati TDP MLA chadalawada Krishnamurti.
The term of the present board which was headed by Kanumuri Bapiraju is till August 18 and the government has started its exercise to constitute a new body.
