Top Rank Officials Inspect Monitor Containment Areas In Suryapet

Suryapet district of Telangana reported 26 fresh cases of novel coronavirus on Tuesday. This is the highest single-day positive case for any district in the state so far. This latest development has left the authorities to worry about the situation in the district.
To get a clear idea about the situation in the district, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and Director General of Police Mahender Reddy visited Suryapet and inspected the containment areas there and had a word with the concerned officials about the safery measures being taken by them
With the new positive cases, Suryapet turned out as the second worst-hit district in Telangana. As directed by the CM KCR the officials went to Suryapet by helicopter and inspected the cantonment areas.
The principal secretary of Health Shantha Kumari accompanied the top officials who inspected the containment areas in the region as they visited the vegetable market area from where the most number of positive cases were witnessed.
The district officials were directed by the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police who made suggestions to the officials regarding the measures to be taken to combat the fatal virus.
