Tornado At Vizag Beach, Video Goes Viral

Tornadoes are rare in India. But Vizag people have witnessed a mini-tornado between RK Beach and the Coastal Battery. The tornado moved about 300 meters from the Women's Hostel at RK Beach to the Coastal Battery. Fishermen left their boats and ran as the wind and the water swirled towards the shore.
Strong winds are blowing along the coast due to hypotension in the Bay of Bengal. Winds swirling at breakneck speed on the sea surface have alarmed locals.
The locals say that this happened due to change in the weather. People who saw this rare incident had taped the whole incident and the video is now going viral on social media.
According to reports, parts of eastern India are set to witness a spike in rainfall activity, as heavy monsoon showers are expected over the region owing to the formation of a low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal.
