By-Polls in 10 States: Tough Road Ahead For Modi!

PM Narendra Modi isn't hesitating to go out of his way to ensure the victory of BJP in the recent elections. Some of the comments made by him during Gujarat and Karnataka Assembly Polls are way below the stature of Prime Minister. Though BJP managed to emerge victorious by a slight margin in Gujarat, The National Party failed to attain Magic Figure in Karnataka despite desperate attempts.
The immediate threat for Narendra Modi could be the 14 by-elections which are scheduled to happen soon. In 10 States including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Kerala, Meghalaya and Nagaland, By-Polls to 4 Lok Sabha and 10 Assembly Constituencies are to be held on May 28th. Results will be declared on 31st of this month.
If BJP fails to win majority of these seats, Anti-Incumbency seems to be on the rise across the nation. These election results will have a huge impact on the 2019 Lok Sabha Polls. What could Narendra Modi do to remain on top?
