Trains collided , Railways in shock
By: Tupaki Desk | 1 Oct 2014 5:49 AM GMTIn Uttar Pradesh two trains collided near Gorakhpur leaving 12 persons feared dead along with at least 45 people Injured. Krishak Express traveling from Varanasi to Gorakhpur hit Barauni Express which is going from Lucknow to Barauni from behind.
The incident took place about seven km from Gorakhpur at 11 pm. In this incident five coaches of Barauni Express were thrown off the track following the collision. adding to that Krishak express coaches are damaged hugely. In the initial investigation itÂ’s revealed that the pilot of Lucknow-Barauni express couldn't stop at an authorized signal. The reasons not yet revealed for pilot actions. Krishak express drivers on run after this incident.
Railway authorities had diverted other trains in to different routes. Some of the trains canceled temporarily. Renovation works are in progress as per the railways officialÂ’s information.
