Triple Talaq misused for LUST: Minister

Uttar Pradesh Minister Swami Prasad Maurya stirred a controversy by commenting that Triple Talaq has been missed by men to satisfy their 'lust'.
Swami Prasad Maurya: 'There is no basis for 'talaq'. Nobody would approve 'talaq' if men use it only to satisfy their lust and force their wife & children to beg on streets. BJP is fighting for Muslim Women who have been victims of talaq'.
Muslim Leaders sought an unconditional apology from Swami Prasad Maurya for his remarks on Triple Talaq. All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) reiterates that Muslims have their own law and any interference willn't be accepted.
The other day, PM Narendra Modi who is battling for ban on Triple Talaq appealed Muslims not to view his stand from a political perspective.
