Modi stuns Mayawati ahead of UP Polls

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati received major shock ahead of Uttar Pradesh Assembly Polls. The issue is regarding unaccounted money deposited in bank accounts after demonetisation was announced.
As much as Rs 104 crore has been deposited in the accounts of Mayawati's Brother and BSP after note ban. This development came to the notice of Income Tax department and Enforcement Directorate during the scrutiny at various bank branches.
If the deposited currency falls under undisclosed income, Mayawati will have to deal with black money allegations. This would surely hurt the poll prospects of Bahujan Samaj Party.
Analysts expected Mayawati to form the next government in Uttar Pradesh as majority of the people aren't content with SP's Akhilesh Yadav rule and vexed with family feud. But, Black Money allegations could hurt her winning chances.
